Stephen Carter joined the company in 1983 and runs the Suffolk Offices . Previously a professional skipper in the Mediterranean and Caribbean on large private yachts. Stephen is our cruising yacht and Jeanneau sailboat expert. Duncan Lougee is part of the Suffolk team. Duncan has a huge technical knowledge of yacht construction gained from professional boat building over a number of years and is our classic yacht expert. Clarke & Carter Essex

Tony Merewether runs our Essex Office and has been with the company since its inception in 1979. Tony is our yacht and race boat expert and is well known on the East Anglian Circuit winning overall in 2005 in his Jeanneau Sun Fast 32 ‘Amazon’ and took delivery of a new Sun Fast 3200 for the 2011 season. Tony is a past Commodore of the Crouch Yacht Club and is now Chairman of the East Anglian Offshore Racing Association.

Ian Scott is based at our Essex Office and has been with the company since 1989. Ian is a helmsman with the Burnham RNLI, is currently chairman of SailEast and is a committee member of the Crouch Yacht Club. He completed the ARC in 2008 skippering a Jeanneau SO49i. He now heads up our After Sales, Spares and Commissioning Team.
Aaron French joined the Essex Office in 2006 and has brought his wealth of experience with him, specialising in power boats to enhance the brokerage at Burnham. Aaron has been on and around the water since he could walk and is now an experienced broker and a valuable part of our team.

Peter Norris joined the team in 2009 and heads up our Kent Offices based at Gillingham and Ramsgate Marinas. Peter has been sailing for over 25 years and has successfully been selling Jeanneau yachts for the past 7 years. He has a wealth of experience in working with private and commercial clients to deliver yachts all over the world.is our cruising yacht and Jeanneau sailboat expert. Barry Huntley joined the Gillingham team in 2013. Although new to the brokerage business, Barry has always had a passion for boats and a love of fishing from a young age, having recently retired from the paper industry after 38 years, this is a new challenge for him. Barry aspiration is to continue to develop his skills, as he attempts to deliver value to the business. Bethany Parris joined the team in 2013 at the Kent Office based in Gillingham Marina as a Yachtbrokers Assistant. She is currently doing an apprenticeship with us to gain an NVQ in Business and Administration and to broaden her knowledge of sail and power boats so that she can deliver a brilliant service to the boating community.
