The 2011 Southampton Boat Show was very busy and successful for us. Overall attendance numbers at the show were down, but those visiting were keen to buy. It was great to see so many of our existing customers that we haven’t seen for a while. A big thank you from all of us to all of you for coming to see us.
We are pleased to report that throughout the summer we have continued to receive a good number of new listings on our brokerage service and the line-up of boats for sale across all three offices looks impressive with some real bargains to be had.
Don’t forget that a large number of the boats for sale will be available to view at our Yacht Fair which is being held at Suffolk Yacht Harbour between 28th – 30th October.
Brokerage sales are up on last year and we sense an upturn in the brokerage market with a welcome return of more UK buyers. It still appears to be a buyers market though, and price and condition are dictating which boats are selling.
