Jeanneau Owners’ Fun Weekend – 25th and 26th June

Logo Jeanneau horizontal 2010

The staff of Clarke and Carter would like to invite you, your family and friends to the fourth East Coast Jeanneau Owners’ rally, which this year is being held on the 25th & 26th June based on the Medway. For those of you who have not been before it is a great opportunity to meet other owners, families and crew with similar boats and to swap ideas and have a good time.

The intention is to set a “Treasure Hunt” for everyone to complete. The Treasure Hunt will be based on clues starting from the entrance to the Medway. This will be e-mailed to everyone on Thursday 23rd June. For your information High tide Sheerness is 20:25 BST on Saturday 25th.

Berthing for participating yachts and powerboats visiting the Medway will be available either at the Medway Sailing Club, Chatham Marina or Gillingham Marina. There will be a water taxi service from the waiting pontoon at Chatham Marina to the Yacht Club. Drinks will be available at the Medway Yacht Club, sponsored by Clarke & Carter at 18.30 followed by a three course informal dinner in the club for £20 per head.

On Sunday we intend to do a short Fun Race in the river, with spinnaker and non-spinnaker classes for yachts and a time trial for powerboats over a measure course so that everyone can leave shortly after high tide, which is at 09.10 BST.

All Owners are invited to come along and join in the fun. Booking forms will be posted to all owners who express an interest, alternatively please see our website www.clarkeandcarter.co.uk and click on the Jeanneau Owners’ page where a booking form can be downloaded. We hope that as many of you as possible will join us for our first Owners Weekend on the Medway. Please Contact Peter Norris on 01634 571605 or e-mail peter@clarkeandcarter.co.uk to register your interest or find out more about the weekend.
