The Westerly Seahawk is highly is regarded for its sea kindly nature and spacious, practical layout, and has one of the best accommodation setups for any yacht of its size. Accommodation
Forward, there is a comfortable V berth and heads with shower, basin and Jabsco toilet (serviced 2024). In the saloon area is a large fold-down dining table with comfortable sofa seats, which convert into a double berth on one side and a single berth opposite. Aft facing chart table with separate seat. The galley has a Plastimo Neptune 4500 gas stove with two burners, grill and oven (new 2024). Double galley sink and ample storage. Alpicool CR50X 12V upright fridge/freezer (new 2024). 240v microwave. Access through the galley to the aft cabin. The aft cabin is roomy with a fitted double berth to starboard, small settee to port, hanging locker and wash basin. The double berth has been upgraded to a queen size with additional custom-made cushions. TV/DVD player with Omnimax TV aerial.
Teak and Holly strip flooring. Curtains. Heating is provided by diesel fired warm air heater (new 2024) to all three cabins and a Refleks heater, for cosy winters. Hot and cold pressurised water supply to galley sink and wash basins from calorifier and immersion heater.
Mechanical Systems
Volvo Penta 2003, three cylinder, 28hp diesel engine. Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger (serviced 2023). Shaft drive via P-bracket to fixed three blade propeller. New cutless bearing and shaft seal 2024. Engine spares and manuals. Serviced annually.
Electrical Systems
2 x 110 amp hour batteries (new 2022) charging from engine alternator. 240v shore power system with Sterling battery charger, immersion heater and ring main. New 240v volt distribution panel 2021. Sterling Battery Charge Controller battery management. Rutland 504 wind generator (new 2020) with Marlec charge regulator. 12v lighting with LED bulbs.

Masthead rigged sloop. Silver anodised deck stepped mast (new 2012) and boom. Stainless steel standing rigging (new 2012). New chainplates 2021. Terylene running rigging (topping lift, genoa sheets, genoa furling line new 2024). Slab reefing main (3 reefs) with stack pack and lazy jacks. Sailspar continuous line headsail furling system. 2 x Lewmar 43 two-speed self-tailing genoa sheet winches. 2 x Barton 17 halyard winches on coachroof. Reefing winch on mast.
