She has regularly had new upholstry, internal roof linings and her external covers have been changed to keep her looking pristine.  When you step onboard this motor cruiser, you would think that she is a brand new vessel. The foreword owners cabin has a large oval island berth with opening hatch to the foredeck and portholes on either side. The forward cabins also has dorades to give additional ventilation.  There is shelves either side of the island berth and a large hanging locker and dressing table giving lost of storage space..  There is also storage under the berth.

There is a large ensuite head with sink and storage cabinet. The sink has pressurised hot and cold water and a separate shower head. There is a marine toilet.

Aft of the forward cabin and to Starboard is the second double cabin with a large berth with hanging locker and storage shelves and porthole. Opposite the cabin is the second heads again with a pedestal with sink with pressurised hot and cold water and shower. There is a marine toilet. 

Aft of the heads and to port is a U Shaped galley that has lots of working top space and storage. It has a large 12V fridge with freezer box, 240v microwave, three burner gas hob and an oven with a grill that has not been used. 

Steps take you up to the large open Saloon that has an l shaped settee to starboard and single seats to port. The upholstery is cream in colour and was replaced in the last couple of years. The windows and old bi-folding doors have been replaced, and she now has a large set of patio doors that open onto the aft cockpit area.

One step takes you up to the helmsman's position that has a double helmsman seat with large backrest and a good sized navigation area and instrument display area. All of the dials have again recently been replaced to keep her looking like new.

The aft cockpit has a seat all around seats with separate cushions and makes a great entertainment area. The area is fully enclosed by a blue cockpit enclosure. There is lots of storage in the aft locker and davits are fitted to take a tender. Steps lead up to the flybridge which can accommodate six people in comfort.

The whole vessel if fitted with a Webasto diesel cabin heating system that was fully replaced in 2014 and gives a real cosy feel to the vessel. 

Mechanical Systems

This Princess 412 has twin Volvo Penta TAMD 60B 6 cylinder 235HP turbo diesel engines with twin disc gearboxes. Shaft drive to three blade bronze props. Engines have approx 800 hours and will be serviced the first week in February 2019 having last been serviced in late 2017. Full service history is available She will crusie at approx 12 nots and has a maximum speed of 18 knots. It has twin steel fuel tanks that hold approx 950 litres in total.

4 x 125AH 12v Batteries ( 2 x domestic 2016 and 2 x engine 2016). chartging from engine alternators, 240V BM Battery management system via 240V shorepower system and Mace 206KW diesel geneator that has approx 3 hours on it and will be serviced in February 2019. 240V Hotwater Imersion heater is also fitted.

Planning Hull


Built in1980 by Princess Motorboats this Princess 412 has been exceptionally well maintained. She was epoxyed with Blakes Gel Shield from new. She was last ashore in 2017 when her anodes where change, hull polished and she was antifouled. She has a white GRP hull and white GRP superstructure and flyridge. The money spent on this vessel over the last 17 years far exceeds the current asking price. the owner has wanted to keep the vessel looking like new. A 2016 insurance survey is available upon request.
