1981 Islander P40
The Islander P40 was designed by famous naval architect Doug Peterson, was considered the best in her class at the time, and remains a great all-around racer/cruiser to this day! They are big, strong, with a PHRF of 84, and although well rigged as a racer they are also easily cruised and are fully furnished below. Her current owner has spent thousands on upgrades and improvements over the last few years, including sails and stackpack system, watermaker, portable generator, batteries, rewiring throughout (in 2017), electronics, and much more. Considered by many to be the best Islander built, the P40 is very similar in design to the C&C 40, and 'Wild Child' is conveniently located in the Caribbean ready for her next adventure.
