1988 Feeling 326
The Feeling 326 is a very spacious cruising yacht with a modern style layout providing excellent accommodation with a particularly spacious feeling saloon. This desirable lift keel version is equally suited to exploring local estuaries or cruising further afield and in recent years has had the keel system completely overhauled and standing rigging replaced. She has wintered ashore every season for at least the last 14yrs and has clearly been well looked after with various upgrades and improvements. The Feeling 326 accommodation offers 6/7 berths in three cabins with approx. 6'2" maximum headroom. Forecabin with double berth, hanging lockers, storage areas, and hatch to foredeck. Saloon consisting of a large U-shaped settee to port which converts to a double berth, dining table, and small settee berth to starboard. Galley to starboard equipped with a Plastimo Neptune two burner gas cooker with oven and grill, twin stainless steel sinks (new 2018) with pressurised hot and cold water supply, large 12v fridge, and ample storage. Aft facing chart table to port with navigation instrumentation, electrical distribution panel, and useful storage areas. Double aft cabin to port with portlight, hanging locker, and further storage. Separate heads compartment aft to starboard with moulded unit including washbasin with hot and cold water supply, shower, Jabsco marine toilet (new 2022 inc outlet seacock), and further storage. Pressurised hot and cold water supply (new pump 2022) via a calorifier. Grey cotton upholstery with complimenting curtains throughout. Teak and holly soleboards.
Masthead sloop rig with twin spreaders. Silver anodised aluminium deck stepped Z-Spars mast (new 2017) and boom. Spinnaker pole. Stainless steel standing rigging (new 2017) with adjustable backstay. Terylene running rigging. Slab reefing mainsail with lazyjacks. Headsail furling system. 2 x Lewmar 40 self-tailing sheet winches. 2 x Lewmar 30 halyard winches.

Located under companionway, Volvo Penta 2002 18hp two-cylinder inboard diesel engine. Seawater cooled. Single lever Morse controls with electric start. Shaft drive New shaft 2016, stern seal 2021) to 2-bladed fixed propeller. Plastic 98L fuel tank. Cruising speed 5.5 knots, top speed 6.5 knots under power.
The engine has been regularly maintained including a new lift pump and injectors overhauled in 2019, was last serviced in April 2021, and has been lightly used since. It has been serviced in April 2022 ready for the coming season and new anodes have been fitted to the propellor and shaft.
2 x 12v Batteries (both new 2018) located under cockpit floor and charged via engine alternator. Shorepower system with battery charger and ring mains. Full interior lighting. Aerogen wind generator.

Feeling 326 lift keel built in 1989 by Kirie Construction Nautiques SA, France to a design by Harle & Mortain. White GRP hull, deck and superstructure with styling stripes. Moulded non-slip surfaces. Iroko and lead lifting keel with further lead ballast in the hull. Tiller steering to partial skeg hung rudder. Self-draining cockpit.
In 2011 the keel system was overhauled including checking and resealing all bolts together with replacing pulleys, keel line and any other items that were deemed necessary at the time. New central headlinings have also been fitted in the saloon and heads, and the saloon windows were removed and re-bedded with new teak faced ply surrounds in 2015.
