Accommodation

The accommodation offers four berths in two sleeping cabins with 6'1" maximum headroom.

SALOON   -   A large wrap-around seating area forward with a central table converts to a generous double berth with stowage beneath seating and high level lockers. Ventilation and natural light provided by an opening hatch to foredeck and two opening portlights.

GALLEY   -   To starboard and equipped with a 2-burner gas hob, separate Smev oven and grill, large 12/240v refrigerator, sink with drainer and storage in various lockers and drawers. Opening port-light.

HEADS   -   The toilet and shower compartment is fitted with a sea toilet, shower with curtain, wash basin, mirror, toiletry locker and opening port light.

AFT CABIN   -   Offering a twin berth with stowage beneath, seating, locker, lights and opening port light.

GENERAL EQUIPMENT   -   Pressurised hot and cold freshwater system via a calorifier with shore power immersion coil. Eberspacher diesel fired warm air heating system with 7 day planner. Aquamarine blue upholstery with complimenting curtains and cream carpets (new 2013). Pioneer CD/radio stereo system with bluetooth, USB and auxiliary inputs (new 2013).

EXTERNAL SPACE   -   The aft cockpit has a helm position with adjustable seat to starboard, an L-shaped seating area or sunlounger to port, and a large U-shaped seating area aft with a cockpit table and infill cushion to form a sunpad. Full cockpit canopy with zipped door and forward section converting to bimini top. High quality leatherette cockpit upholstery (new 2021). Teak effect cockpit sole with large gas-ram assisted access to the enginge compartment. Walk-thru transom to teak effect bathing platform with hot and cold shower and concealed swim ladder. 

Mechanical Systems

Located beneath cockpit sole, twin Volvo Penta KAD32-P 170hp turbo and super charged 4-cylinder diesel engines. Freshwater cooled via heat exchangers. Dual single lever Volvo Penta throttle controls with electric start. Power hydraulic wheel steering. Aluminium 418L fuel tank. Twin Volvo Penta DuoProp outdrives with power trim and tilt with DuoProp propellers. Full engine instrumentation. Hydraulic trim tabs.

The engines have run for approximately 908hrs since new equating to optimum usage of approx. 40hrs per season, and have been well maintained both in current and previous ownerships. In 2014 both engines were removed for a minor overhaul which included full servicing, cooling systems flushed and cleaned together with many new parts including new sumps (these are prone to corrosion issues and were beginning to show signs of future problems). Since then she has been regularly serviced, and in May 2021 the engine compartment sound proofing was renewed, her outdrive legs serviced, and engines serviced when relaunched in July 2021. 

Electrical Systems

2 x 12v Batteries (new 2017/2021) charged via engine alternators. Shorepower system with ring mains, battery charger, and immersion coil. 12v Sockets. Full cabin and cockpit lighting. Electrical distribution panel.

Fairline Targa 29 built by Fairline Boats Ltd. in 1997 for the 1998 model year (first commissioned in 1999) to a Bernard Olesinski and Fairline design. White GRP planing hull, superstructure, radar arch and decks with moulded non-slip surfaces. Integrated GRP bathing platform with walk-thru transom. Teak effect cockpit sole and bathing platform.
