Accommodation

This Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 37 layout offers up to six berths with two double sleeping cabins separate from the main accommodation.  In the forecabin there is a double berth with stowage under.  Hanging locker. Small basin. Opening hatch to foredeck.  

In the saloon there is a dinette to starboard converting to double berth with settee opposite.  Blue upholstery throughout with curtains. There is a Chart table to port with storage space. There is 6ft 5ins headroom in the saloon.

The galley opposite and has a Two burner gimballed gas cooker with oven. Twin stainless steel sinks with pressurised hot and cold water system.  300 litre freshwater capacity across two tanks.  12V Refrigerator.  Separate heads compartment with marine toilet, shower and washbasin.  Aft cabin to starboard with double berth with hanging locker with opening portlights. Eberspacher diesel fired hot air central heating.

Large cockpit with lots of locker storage space and access to transom.

Mechanical Systems

Located under companionway in vented and soundproofed compartment is the 2002 Yanmar 3GM30F, 3 cylinder, 29hp diesel engine. Fresh water cooled via heat exchanger. Shaft driven to a feathering Darglow Featherstream 3 bladed propellor. Single lever controls, Rope cutter. Approximately 2929 engine hours. 136 litre plastic fuel tank. Regularly serviced, with last service end of last season.

Construction

Built by Jeanneau in 2002. White grp hull with style stripes. White grp coachroof with mostly bonded teak laid deck. Alloy toe rails. Cast iron fin keel. Wheel steering to balanced rudder. Large sugar scoop transom with fold down helm seat for access. Self draining cockpit and anchor well. Stainless steel rails and new stainless steel lifelines in 2017. Teak hand rails. Teak to cockpit seats and sole. Midship cleats. Last surveyed 2010.
