2004 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 43 DS
Reluctantly for sale by her third owner, this is a four cabin, two head version of the Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 43 Deck Saloon. These are substantial cruising yachts ideal for extended periods aboard, comfortable with solid sailing performance & substantial build quality. The accommodation & layout are ingeniously flexible: currently with two large aft cabins which convert to a single owners suite; forepeak double upfront and a twin bunk cabin mid ships – always popular with young people; two heads, a large saloon (inc. two berths) with raised seating areas & huge galley with twin fridge & freezer. All with a view. The large cockpit area & double sunpad forward all make for comfortable Med cruising.
She is currently DOT/MCA coded for commercial use complete with Spanish survey and charter license and she would make a great school boat. With the 10 person capability she is always popular. 2017-18 saw a comprehensive refit with new Sanders sails, rig overhaul & survey. MCA full survey 2019 with no faults. The new owner may be able to keep her in charter if required. At this realistic price she makes a good proposition.
