Accommodation

The Rodman 810 accommodation offers up to four berths in two cabins with approx. 6'4" headroom in the wheelhouse. 

LOWER CABIN: Fitted with a wrap-around settee forward with infill to form a double berth and stowage beneath, opening hatch to foredeck and further single berth beneath the wheelhouse sole which also serves as a very useful storage area.

HEADS: Separate heads compartment to starboard with marine toilet (with holding tank), washbasin, cupboard and opening portlight. 

WHEELHOUSE SALOON: Helm to starboard with a folding helm seat ahead of a linear galley running aft equipped with a stainless steel Origo single burner spirit stove, stainless steel sink and storage cupboard. To port is a dinette seating area which can convert to form a berth and has further storage areas. Excellent all-round visibility with good natural light and ventilation provided by two sliding side windows and the large aft sliding door to the cockpit.

GENERAL EQUIPMENT: Pressurised cold water supplied throughout (a calorifier could easily be added if hot water was required). Holding tank with 61L capacity. Blue saloon upholstery with white leatherette helm seat for practicality, and striped upholstery in the lower cabin. Parquet flooring to wheelhouse sole.

EXTERIOR: Large aft cockpit with excellent lazarette storage and walk-through stern access to the bathing platform. Stainless steel grabrails, handles and wheelhouse roof grab rails provide safe access to and from the foredeck.

Mechanical Systems

Located beneath cockpit sole, Volvo Penta D4-225 turbocharged 225hp four-cylinder common rail diesel engine. EVC engine system with electronic throttle controls. Shaft drive to a four-bladed bronze propeller in semi-tunneled hull design for increased efficiency. 

The engine appears to be in excellent cosmetic condition, was last serviced in 2018 and has been lightly used since.

History and Construction

Rodman 810 built by Rodman in 2005 for the 2006 model year to their own design. White GRP hull with style stripes, superstructure and decks with moulded non-slip surfaces. Copper coated beneath the waterline in 2018. Large self-draining aft cockpit. Sliding wheelhouse windows and aft door. Wheel steering to stainless steel rudder with stainless steel protective skeg.

'Sea Vixen' has been owned by her current owner for the last 10 years and is only for sale as he is retiring from boating.
