The Rhea 800 layout offers up to 4 berths, a separate heads compartment, and excellent headroom. 

FORECABIN  -  Fitted with a central V berth with infill to make a double berth, shelves, cupboards, beneath berth storage, portlights, and an opening hatch to the foredeck.

HEADS  -  Separate heads compartment to starboard with marine toilet, washbasin (a shower could easily be added if required), cupboards, and opening portlight. 

SALOON   -   Helm position to starboard offering excellent visibility and easy deck access via a sliding side door. To port is a dinette seating area with an adjustable saloon table, which can convert to create a forward-facing navigator seat, or drop to form a double berth. 

GALLEY   -   Linear galley aft to starboard equipped with a stainless steel 2-burner gas hob, microwave (in forecabin), fridge, sink, and storage. 

GENERAL EQUIPMENT   -   Pressurised hot and cold water supplied throughout via a calorifier with immersion coil. Webasto diesel fired warm air heating system (new 2018) and saloon cooling fan. Light grey upholstery with complimenting carpets throughout. Fusion Marine stereo system with speakers. A large storage hold located beneath the saloon sole is easily accessed and provides huge amounts of useful storage, with plenty of space for additional equipment.

EXTERIOR   -   Large aft cockpit with teak folding seating, lazarette locker with weed box, and walk-through stern access to the bathing platform. Excellent side decks with additional stainless steel grabrails provide safe access to and from the foredeck. 

Mechanical Systems

Located under the cockpit sole, Yanmar 6LPA six-cylinder 315hp turbocharged diesel engine. Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger. Single lever controls with electric start and hydraulic trolling valve. Hydraulic wheel steering with removable cockpit tiller. Full engine instrumentation including fuel flow meter. 450L fuel tank. FloScan additional fuel filtration system. Shaft drive to four-bladed propeller with protective skeg. Factory fitted weed box. Sleipner Sidepower bow and stern thrusters with combined control at helm. 

The engine has been very well maintained, and has just been professionally serviced at the beginning of November 2021 which included a new impeller, raw water pump shaft seals, and engine anodes. It has run for 552hrs since new equating to an ideal usage of approx. 42hrs a season.

5 x 12v batteries (2 x domestic, engine, windlass/bow thruster, and stern thruster, all new 2019) charged via engine alternator. Emergency link switch. Rhea 800 built in 2007 by Rhea to a Joubert-Nivelt design, first launched 2008. Semi-displacement blue GRP hull, epoxy coated beneath the waterline from new and professionally wrapped in 2020. Cream superstructure and decks with moulded non-slip surfaces. Hydraulic wheel steering to single rudder, with removable teak tiller for steering from the cockpit.
