Accommodation

The layout offers six berths with three double sleeping cabins.  The interior joinery is Cherry giving a warm and pleasing feel to the accommodation.  There is full standing headroom throughout.  In the forecabin, good sized V berth with stowage under.  Opening hatch to foredeck.  Overhead lockers.  Hanging locker.  Separate heads compartment to port with underfloor heating, electric toilet, washbasin and separate shower stall.  In the main saloon, large seating area to starboard with fixed saloon table.  Two armchairs opposite.  Pop-up wide screen television.  Generous locker space.  Mid cabin to starboard with two single berths.  Hanging locker.  Galley to port in walk-through to the aft cabin.  Twin stainless steel sinks with hot and cold pressurised water.  Four burner induction hob.  Microwave combi oven.  Refrigerator.  Freezer.  Excellent work surface.  Under floor wine stowage.  Owner's stateroom aft with large island double bed.  Hanging lockers and plenty of general stowage.  En-suite heads compartment which was retrofitted by Elling in 2021/2, with an electric marine toilet, wash basin and separate shower stall.  Holding tank.  Steps up from the saloon to the wheelhouse, which also has underfloor heating.  Comfortable settee to port with small occasional table and helm opposite.  Fully sprung and adjustable helm seat.  Comprehensive engine and navigational instrumentation.  Large opening sunroof and door to rear deck.  850 litre freshwater capacity.  Kabola central heating via radiators that also provides hot water.  Curtains and venetian blinds throughout.

Mechanical Systems

Located beneath the wheelhouse, Volvo Penta D6 six cylinder 435hp diesel engine. 480 hours running time since new.  Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger.  Shaft drive to five bladed propeller.  Fly-by-wire controls.  1500 litre fuel capacity in stainless steel tank. 

Volvo Penta D1-30 three cylinder 27hp diesel wing engine with separate 100 litre stainless steel tank.  Single lever control.  Saildrive to two bladed folding propeller.  Sidepower bow thruster and stern thruster.

When cruising at 7.5 knots, the Elling uses 7.5 litres per hour (1 litre per mile). The main engine, wing engine and generator were all serviced in October / November 2022. The hours of use for the generator is 26 and the wing engine is 18 hours.
