Each year we hold a number of Used Boat Show events at our offices in Suffolk, Essex and Kent. Consequently, these are some of the largest and longest running shows of their kind in the UK! At every show we have a selection of used yachts and motorboats to view and entry is always free including a catalogue featuring all of the boats at the show, as well as at other offices. As a result, if you have a you would like to sell you should make sure you are included. See below for further information on these events and how to make sure your boat is included.
If your boat is not listed with us for sale yet now is a great time to get things moving. Historically we sell a large number of boats in the weeks leading up to the shows because people try to get in early on new listings. Are you still enjoying the summer boating? Get in touch and arrange for your boat to be ready to hit the market as soon as your season ends so that we can get some great sunny pictures!

Over the years these successful shows have established themselves as the main events for both buyers and sellers to attend here on the East coast. See information on this year’s event dates and what you can expect at the next show below:
Chatham Marina Used Boat Show, Kent – Kent Used Boat Show 9th – 11st October 2020
Our Chatham Marina Used Boat Show has been held annually in October at our Chatham office.
This is the first of our Autumn Used Boat Shows and the longest-running and largest used boat show in Kent! Based in the heart of the historic dockyard redevelopment there are plenty of reasons to visit this show. Because of this the show is one of our most popular with visitors and provides a great selection of used boats for you to view.
Burnham Yacht Harbour, Burnham on Crouch – Essex Used Boat Show 16th – 18th October 2020
Our Essex Used Boat Show is held annually in October at our Burnham office. Previous shows have had over 60 used boats on display and have proven very successful.
The second show in our busy Autumn boat series, although not yet quite as large as our Suffolk show every year it grows and has proven very successful! Similarly to Chatham, this show has the advantage of having charming Burnham town on the doorstep so makes a great day out too.
Suffolk Yacht Harbour, Levington – Suffolk Used Boat Show – 23rd to 25th October 2019
Our Suffolk Used Boat Show is held at the end of October at our Levington Office in Suffolk Yacht Harbour.
It is the largest, longest-running and most successful used boat show on the East Coast. We usually have over 100 boats entered in our show both afloat and ashore. As a result, a months’ worth of purchaser viewings is compressed into three days. Consequently, we normally achieve a staggering sales rate of some 20% to 25% of boats exhibited. There is no fee to enter your yacht or motorboat in the show – indeed there is even free berthing or hardstanding for nine days!
An important event on the East Coast – it is not to be missed! Media coverage for the Suffolk Used Boat Show has included BBC Look East and ITV About Anglia, Sky as well as BBC News 24 & BBC Radio Suffolk together with yachting press.
Dover Marina, Kent – Dover Used Boat Show – Back in 2021!
The first of our popular Used Boat Show events, our Dover Used Boat Show is held in July at Dover Marina in conjunction with the marina open day. It offers a great opportunity to see a selection of different used boats, get advice from boating industry professionals, all in the historic setting of Dover.
Due to the current health crisis and concerns over social distancing the decision has been made by Dover Marina to cancel this event. We look forward to the show returning in 2020!
