Accommodation
The interior of the Nimbus 380 has been beautifully crafted in teak and offers 6 comfortable berths. Up forward there is a double island berth with hanging lockers and storage lockers. Opening hull portholes and a deck opening hatch. Moving aft and to starboard, you have the separate heads compartment with an electric marine toilet, basin & shower. Opening porthole.
Opposite to port there is another comfortable double cabin with plenty of storage and a opening porthole. Moving up into the wheelhouse, which is well ventilated by two sliding roof hatches and side windows, you have the helm position to starboard with engine controls, instruments & control panels. Opposite to port is a forward facing seat for two passengers. This helm seat folds backward to make up part of the dinette. The U shaped dinette with teak table offers seating for six. This berth drops down to make another double berth.
Opposite to starboard is the linear galley with a Isotherm front opening fridge, SMEV three burner gas cooker with an oven and grill. Microwave. Stainless steel sink. Moving aft through the sliding patio doors you have the comfortable and safe cockpit with seating around the transom. Varnished cockpit table.
Pressurised hot & cold water throughout. Eberspacher diesel fired cabin heating. Fitted blue carpets. Blue & white striped curtains. Blue upholstery to the interior cushions. CD/Radio with speakers in the wheelhouse and cockpit.
Mechanical Systems
Located under the cockpit sole in a insulated and vented engine bay are the twin Volvo Penta KAMD43P marine diesel engines. 230hp, 6 cylinders, turbo charged & super charged. Fresh water cooled via a heat exchanger. Approximately 850 hours on both engines. Shaft driven to fixed 4 bladed bronzed propellers. Engines have been regularly serviced by local engineers, with no expense spared. Approximately 755 litre fuel tank.
