Mechanical SystemsLocated under companionway in sound proofed and vented compartment. 2005, Yanmar 3YM20, three cylinder, 20hp marine diesel engine. Shaft drive via P-bracket to fixed three blade propeller. Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger. Single lever controls with electric start. Cruising speed 5.5 knots and maximum speed under engine 6.knots. 60 litres fuel capacity in plastic tank. The engine is professionally serviced at the start and end of each season. New alternator in 2023, new shaft and prop in 2021.
Electrical Systems
3 x 12v Batteries charging from engine alternator and shore power charger. Most 2022/3.
Shore power system with 25 amp battery charger, immersion coil for water heating and ring mains. Electrical distribution panel with wiring and socket in cockpit locker for wandering solar panel. Full cabin lighting.
Sails & SparsFractionally rigged sloop. Sparcraft silver anodised mast and boom, 2005. Stainless steel standing rigging, 2022. Terylene running rigging, 2017. Single line slab reefing mainsail with lazy bag and lazyjacks. Facnor headsail furling system. 2 x Harken 32 self-tailing sheet winches. Single Harken 16 self-tailing halyard/control winch on coachroof. Lines led aft to Spinlock clutches. Sprung rod kicker, 2022. Barton removable mainsheet track in cockpit, new 2023, together with new main sheet and blocks to enable helmsperson to control the mainsail from the wheel.
Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 32 built by Jeanneau in 2005. White GRP hull with blue style stripes, superstructure and decks with moulded non-slip surfaces. Cast iron fin keel. Wheel steering to spade hung rudder.. Self draining cockpit. Second opening cockpit port hole in aft cabin. Walk through transom with removable seat. Teak laid to cockpit seats, floor and bathing platform. Last surveyed in 2022. (Spare aft cabin coachroof window included).
