    Owners Comments

I bought Lucinda, a 1986 Cornish Crabber Pilot Cutter 30 in October 2014. She was very attractive yacht but needed to be brought up to date. I looked at the current design and used that as my blue print. On the exterior I had made a new rudder as the old one was in need of refurbishment. I also updated the deck with synthetic teak decking and replaced the windlass with a Lofrans with remote controls and added a Bowthruster with controls in the cockpit. The original engine was not upto the pressures so was replaced with a Beta engine with new controls and new propshaft and folding 3 blade propeller. The engine was fitted by New Wave and winterised and recommissioned each year by them. Inside I had her completely rewired and new electronics Zeus 2 which includes chart plotter with radar linked to an autopilot. Also incorporated was depth and speed through the water (not paddle wheel) and wind (actual and apparent). I also added VHF with remote, The cabin was upgraded to Corian cooker and sink unit and heads sink unit and new fridge and new chart table and new table. Upholstery was remade for seating area and afterberths.
