The world-renowned Starlight 39 needs little introduction and offers her owner the perfect blending of performance and comfort. Charmary was originally supplied by Clarke & Carter in 1990 and is only in her second ownership. She was sailed out to the Baltic in 2015/16 where she has been cruising ever since. She appears to present well for her age and has been well maintained. She boasts a recent engine and good electronics.

Accommodation
Offering up to 6 berths with 2 separate sleeping cabins and two separate heads. Up forward there is the master cabin with a large double V berth. Good storage underneath. Hanging locker & seat. Deck opening hatch. Access to the en-suite heads with a marine toilet, basin and shower. Pressurised hot & cold water supply. Moving aft into the saloon, there are two single settee berths either side of the double drop leaved table. Good stowage around the saloon, including handy eye level cupboards. The forward-facing chart table is to port with the electrical distribution panel & navigation equipment. Hanging locker behind. Opposite to starboard is the L shaped galley with twin stainless-steel sinks with pressurised hot & cold water, plus a manually pumped salt water supply. Plastimo 2 burner gas hob with an oven & grill. Large front opening fridge. Second top opening fridge. Good stowage around the galley. The aft heads is in the port aft quarter with a marine toilet with a holding tank, basin and shower. Pressurised hot & cold water supply. In the starboard quarter is the double cabin with a large double bed and hanging locker. Good ventilation throughout the boat. Grey upholstery through. Eberspacher cabin heating.
Mechanical Systems
Located under the companionway stairs in the Beta Marine 38hp diesel engine, fitted new in 2016. 4 cylinders. Shaft driven to a folding three bladed propeller. Fresh water cooled via a heat exchanger. Single lever controls. Electric start. 150 litre fuel capacity in two plastic tanks. Engine hours to be confirmed.

Construction
Built by Sadler Yachts in 1990 to a design of Stephen Jones. White GRP hull and deck with a sugar scoop transom. Winged keel with a lead ballast. Semi balanced rudder mounted on partial skeg and wheel steered. Self-draining cockpit with Dek-king covering on seats and sole. Teak internal joinery work. Hull was epoxied & coppercoated in 2014. Last surveyed in 2011 with all recommendations carried out. All seacocks replaced in the past 2 years. New rudder bearings in 2025.
