The Maxi 1100 is a well-regarded Swedish built performance cruiser, known for its blend of speed, handling, and comfort. Designed by Pelle Peterson, the Maxi 1100 features a sleek, modern hull with a fin keel and spade rudder, offering responsive performance under sail. Accommodation
The interior layout offers up to 7 berths, with good standing headroom throughout. Teak internal fitout. Blue Alcantara upholstery throughout. Teak and holly soleboards. Eberspacher diesel fire cabin heating with outlets in every cabin. The forward cabin offers a large double berth with storage below, two hanging lockers to port and starboard, plus a spacious changing area. Deck opening hatch. Moving aft into the saloon, you have a U-shaped settee to starboard that converts down into a double berth, with a single settee berth opposite to port. There is a large folding leaf table in the centre offers generous dining space and includes bottle storage. Overhead storage lockers and handrails enhance both convenience and safety. The forward-facing chart table is to port with a navigator's seat, electrical distribution panel and some navigation equipment. The L shaped galley is opposite to starboard, which is equipped with a two-burner stove with an oven and grill, twin stainless-steel sinks with hot and cold mixer taps, a top-loading 12V Isotherm refrigerator, and ample storage lockers and drawers. The aft cabin is in the starboard quarter, which provides a generous double berth, hanging locker, high-level shelf, and reading lights. The heads compartment is opposite in the port quarter, with a Jabsco marine toilet, stainless steel handbasin with hot and cold mixer/shower wand, wet locker with heater outlet, numerous storage lockers, teak shower grate, electric shower sump pump, shower curtain, cup holders, mirror, towel hooks, and an opening port hatch.
Mechanical Systems
Located behind the companionway stairs in a vented and sound proofed engine compartment, is the Volvo Penta D1-30 marine diesel engine, fitted new in 2005. 3 cylinders, 29hp, fresh water cooled via a heat exchanger. Saildrive to a folding 3 bladed propeller. Saildrive diaphragm requires changing. Rope cutter. Electric start. Single lever controls. Engine hours unknown. Exhaust elbow changed in 2021. Annually serviced.

The Maxi 1100 was built by Nimbus Boats AB to a design of Pelle Peterson. White GRP hull with a PVC foam core. White GRP deck with a foam core. Teak laid ring decks, cockpit seats, sole and swim platform. Wheel steering to a spade hung rudder. Fin keel with a lead bulb.
