The Broom Continental 37 is a classic design from the highly regarded Broom yard, combining impressive seakeeping and economical performance with very spacious accommodation, ideal for live-aboard cruising. 'Countessa' has been sympathetically modernised with new upholstery, linings, and finishings in many areas to create a homely and comfortable coastal cottage feel. This, combined with an upgraded Garmin nav pack inc autopilot, radar, and AIS, an electric windlass, and very good general presentation and condition, must make her one of the best of her kind. Only for sale due to her owner's wanting the flexibility of higher cruising speeds, we recommend early viewing as she is unlikely to be available for long!

SALOON:   The open-plan saloon features an L-shaped seating area (upgraded 2018) to starboard with storage and portable dining table, a range of storage cupboards to port aft of a well-equipped internal helm position. Excellent access to the aft and both side decks, and forward and aft passageways.

GENERAL EQUIPMENT:   During the last five years the interior has been comprehensively refurbished and refinisihed Blue cotton saloon upholstery, hardwearing hessian style carpets, upgraded fabric and hard linings, and complimenting curtains or blinds throughout. Hot and cold pressurised water system via a calorifier with immersion coil.

The engines appear to be in good condition and have clearly received good levels of maintenance across both current and previous ownerships. They were last serviced in June 2023, and notable works included reconditioned fuel injector pumps and turbochargers in 2015, and stern glands repacking in 2019.
