"Ali Oops" is an early 1980's aluminium built performance cruiser. She was originally fitted with a 185hp Mercruiser petrol engine to race in Cruiser Class Offshore Racing and was very successful, particularly in the rough weather races, winning her class in 1984. She has ample room for four to six adults in the cockpit. Her Volvo Penta D3, 160hp diesel engine enables her to comfortably reach 35 kts and cruise at 25 kts. Below she has a forward V berth suitable for two adults. She has space for a chemical heads and is equipped with a stainless sink.

Single Volvo Penta D3, five cylinder, 160hp turbocharged diesel engine. Volvo stern drive to a four-bladed propeller. Single lever Volvo throttle/gear control. Volvo gauges including RPM, volts, temperature, pressure and leg trim. She is capable of reaching 35 knots and will cruise comfortably at 25 knots. Engine serviced annually.
Engine started by single 12v battery charged by the alternator.

Construction
Built by Stephen and Richard Lucas of Elstead Forge Ltd. (later Forgecraft Marine) in 1983. The hull is tig welded 3/16" and the superstructure 1/8" NS8 (now called 5083) marine grade aluminium. Her final fit out was completed by her first owner. The appears to be in good, sound condition throughout.
