The Galeon 380 Fly offers a great blend of superbly appointed accommodation, great exterior space, and economical cruising. They are rarely available in the UK and make a great alternative to more commonly seen rivals such as the Sealine F33 / F34, Fairline Phantom 38, or Prestige 32 / 36. 'Eliza Joe' is a desirable late example fitted with Volvo Penta AD41 engines with upgraded electronic controls, Duo-Prop outdrives, and a great inventory including diesel heating, Garmin nav pack, bow thruster, electric windlass, holding tank, and new full cockpit enclosure. 'Eliza Joe' has had a BSS Certificate in the past, the last one expiring in September 2022. Presented in very good condition with a full outdrive service, and antifouled ready to enjoy the 2024 season!
Viewing by appointment only through our Essex office on 01621 785600.

The Galeon 380 Fly accommodation offers up to six berths in two double cabins plus the saloon, with good headroom throughout.
FORECABIN: The luxurious owner's cabin is fitted with an island double berth easily accessed from either side and an LCD TV, with superb storage in a range of hanging and eye-level lockers, cupboards, and shelves, ideal for extended cruising. Good natural ventilation and light are provided by two opening portlights and a large hatch to the foredeck, and en suite access is provided to the heads compartment.
HEADS: Separate compartment fitted with an electric flushh marine toilet with shower seat and holding tank (new macerator pump 2022), enclosed shower area (new sump pump 2023), and separate vanity area with hand basin, mirrors, and excellent storage. When designing the 380 Galeon decided on one large heads compartment rather than two smaller ones, resulting in a more luxurious space with more storage than usually found at this size.
GUEST CABIN: Located to starboard and fitted with a linear small double berth, seat, LCD TV, hanging locker, cupboard, and opening portlight. Although this is a smaller cabin it still offers plenty of space to get ready inside the cabin, and due to the layout could also be adapted to work very well as an office, hobby space, or luxury walk-in wardrobe.
GALLEY: L-shaped galley to port equipped with a Smev stainless steel two-burner gas hob (new 2019), microwave oven, Isotherm refrigerator, stainless steel sink with mixer tap, and ample storage and work surfaces.
WHEELHOUSE HELM: Ergonomically designed helm to starboard with a twin bench seat, electrical distribution panel, navigation equipment, and opening side window.
SALOON: L-shaped settee to starboard with electric sliding system to convert to a double berth, free-standing table, a large entertainment and storage unit opposite to port, and a sliding door to the cockpit.
GENERAL EQUIPMENT: Eberspacher diesel-fired warm air heating system with two individual units serving the sleeping cabins independently of the saloon and galley (both serviced/overhauled 2022). Hot and cold pressurised water throughout via a calorifier with immersion coil. Cream leather saloon upholstery and cotton cabin upholstery with complimenting soft furnishings, carpets (new 2023), and curtains.
EXTERIOR - Spacious aft cockpit with excellent access to the engine compartment, side decks, and a walk-through transom to the bathing platform. Hot and cold cockpit shower (new 2023). Moulded steps lead up to the flybridge which has a helm position with helm and navigator seats and instrumentation, with an L-shaped settee and a large sun pad aft. All exterior seating upholstery was replaced in 2023.
Mechanical SystemsLocated under cockpit sole, twin Volvo Penta AD41 6-cylinder 200hp turbo diesel engines. Fresh water cooled via heat exchangers. Volvo Penta Duo-Prop outdrives with Duo Prop propellers. Full engine instrumentation at wheelhouse and flybridge stations. Bowthruster. Adjustable trim tabs.
The engines appear to be in very good cosmetic condition and have been recently serviced with only light usage since, so will not require servicing until the end of 2024 unless used intensively, and have had both seawater cooling pumps refurbished in September 2023 (preventative due to minor signs of leaking). As of October 2023 the engines had run for 320hrs since new (will increase gradually as still in use), and the outdrive legs were fully serviced in December 2023 including new bellows.
Electrical Systems2 x 12v batteries charged via engine alternators. Shorepower system with ring mains, Victron automatic battery charger with remote monitoring app (new 2023), and immersion coil for water heating. Full electrical distribution system with touchscreen controls and breaker switches. Inverter for providing power away from shore power with a saloon and forecabin outlet.
Deck EquipmentGaleon 380 built by Galeon to their own design in 2005. White GRP hull and deck with moulded non-slip surfaces. Integral moulded stairway to flybridge with teak laid steps. Teak laid self-draining aft cockpit with walk-through transom to a teak-laid bathing platform with folding boarding ladder.
