The Bavaria 37 Cruiser is an extremely spacious cruising yacht with good performance, easily handled by a couple. Flyin' Solo II is a one-owner two cabin example with shoal keel, bow thruster, central heating and in-mast mainsail furling. She has been lightly used for local cruising. A much loved boat in very good condition.

The interior layout offers four berths in two double sleeping cabins separate from the main accommodation, with the versatility of two extra berths in the saloon if required. Headroom is approximately 1.95m. In the forecabin, large double V berth with stowage under. Custom Ship Shape luxury mattress and under mattress anti condensation layer (original mattress also available). Opening hatch to foredeck. Two hanging lockers and occasional seat. In the saloon, dinette to starboard with settee berth opposite. Fixed table with drop leaves. Chart table area to port with galley opposite. Two burner gimballed gas cooker with oven. Microwave oven. Twin stainless steel sinks with hot and cold pressurised water system. Refrigerator. Separate heads to port with electric marine toilet (with 70l holding tank), shower and washbasin. Aft double cabin, with hanging locker and good sized double berth. 360 litre freshwater capacity in two tanks, hot water heated by the engine or by 240 volt immersion heater. Blinds to all windows. Webasto diesel fired central heating system..
Mechanical SystemsLocated behind the companionway. 2016, Volvo Penta D1-30F three cylinder 28hp diesel engine. 302 hours running time since new. Electric start. Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger. Saildrive to 2019 Darglow feathering three bladed propeller. (Saildrive diaphragm from 2016 so will need changing). Ambassador rope cutter to shaft, 2017. Single lever control. 150 litre fuel capacity in rota moulded tank giving approximately 150 mile range at 6 knots cruising speed. Maximum speed under power 7.6 knots (fouling and loading dependant). The engine has been fully serviced annually, last done in June 2024 inc oil change, filters and new impeller.

Electrical SystemsFractionally rigged sloop, deck stepped. Silver anodised aluminium mast and boom by Selden (2016). Stainless steel standing rigging (2016). Terylene running rigging (2016 & 2023). Two Lewmar 40 self tailing sheet winches. Two Lewmar 30 self tailing halyard/control line winches. In-mast mainsail furling. Headsail furling system.
Built inn 2016 by Bavaria Yachtbau to a design by Farr Yacht Design. First launched in 2017. Light Grey GRP hull with style stripes. White GRP superstructure with moulded non-slip to deck. Fold-down transom bathing platform. Cast iron shoal fin keel. Spade hung rudder. New Jeffa OEM rudder bearings in 2023. Wheel steering. Aft self draining cockpit. Antifouled and anodes renewed in June 2024.
