Sail Around Britain for Macmillan Cancer Support
We are proud to announce our sponsorship of Premier Sailing’s Sail Around Britain 2023, raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Premier Sailing are raising funds once again for Macmillan Cancer Support with their Sail Around Britain trip, and as our chosen charity for 2023 we are helping raise funds for this amazing cause.
Although many of the legs are full there are still some places available, including sailing from Newcastle to Inverness. This leg takes in the beauty and wildlife of Lindisfarne and is ideal for combining with Rabbie’s land-based trips from Inverness.
No previous sailing experience is required, and all equipment is provided. It’s a great way to sail areas you might not usually reach, or gain experience for future adventures. New to sailing? This could also be an excellent way to decide if sailing is for you! And most of all, whatever the reason, you will be raising funds for an amazing cause! About our 2023 Round Britain sailing trip for Macmillan Cancer Support
Following the overwhelming success of our previous six trips, which raised over £37,000 for Macmillan and was enjoyed by many shipmates, we will once again in 2023 take to the seas around our coastline for the trip of a lifetime.
Most of us will come into contact with cancer at some time in our lives. Macmillan, as many of us know, are there to help and support both the patient and their family. It is our personal experience of the superb care and support provided by Macmillan that has led us to run this trip. We will visit many marinas and most, including Royal Quays, Rhu, Bangor and Whitehills, will donate their fees to Macmillan.
