Two cabin barge with a snug that can be used as a third bedroom, Tijdstroom has a familiar Luxemotor layout with a large, collapsable wheelhouse that has bench seating and stools situated above the engine room with fantastic views out across the river. Entering down the companionway steps into a large, open-plan living room and kitchen. There is room for a large L-shape sofa with storage opposite and book shelves above. Plenty of storage in the gunnels. Multi-fuel stove. 11kW Diesel central heating fitted in 2025. The kitchen is laid out in a C-shape with large breakfast bar and is equipped with gas oven and grill, dishwasher and stainless steel sinks. There is an undercounter fridge freezer and washing machine. Induction hob. The bathroom has an electric flushing heads and bath with a shower head but there is restricted headroom above the bath. Forward of that is the snug which has a single bed/sofa to the port side and beyond that a small cabin in the forepeak. Going aft from the wheelhouse takes you to the large master cabin which has a king-sized double bed. 500l water capacity.

Construction

24m Luxemotor Dutch Barge built in c.1923 in Holland. Originally built as a steel riveted barge, she has been overplated where required and never shortened like a lot of barges of this era. Last surveyed in 2024.

Mooring

The mooring in Woodbridge is transferable to the new owner on successful application to the mooring owners. Current mooring fees are £3,900 per annum with a parking space available at £15 a week.
