The Picchiotti Giglio is a distinctive classic Italian motor cruiser, built circa 1966 by the Picchiotti yard in Italy. Combining a semi-displacement hull form with twin Detroit diesel engines, she offers an unusual combination of classic construction, attractive period styling and useful cruising accommodation. A pre-purchase survey was carried out for the current owner in November 2018, when the surveyor found no underlying fault or weakness in the hull laminate, external covering or frames, although several maintenance recommendations were made. The survey recommendations were subsequently carried out. The owner currently reports that now the deck requires some repair, and prospective purchasers should satisfy themselves as to its present condition.
