The Trintella 29 is a long-keeled heavy displacement, offshore cruising yacht with an S-framed hull prioritising stability and directional tracking over speed. During its current tenure, Trineke has benefited from several upgrades including new mast, new rigging, new cockpit cover and self-tailing winches. She is an affordable classic well presented in sail away condition.

Accommodation

The accommodation is fitted out with varnished teak joinery and offers up to five berths in two cabins. In the fore cabin there is a V berth with stowage below. Opening hatch to deck. Full width heads compartment with marine toilet and washbasin. Wet locker opposite to port. Moving aft into the saloon there are two settee berths on either side of a removable saloon table. Chart table to starboard with quarter berth behind and galley opposite. Stainless steel sink with manually pumped water supply. Approximately 90 litre freshwater tank. Two burner gimballed gas cooker with grill and oven. Gimballed oil lamp. Brass clock. Radio/CD player.

Mechanical Systems

Located under the companionway is a Beta Marine 25hp three-cylinder diesel engine, installed new in 2016. Electric start. Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger. Shaft drive to three bladed propeller. Single lever control. Approximately 45 litre fuel capacity in stainless steel tank. Cruising speed under power 5 knots, maximum 6.5 knots. The engine has been regularly serviced and has logged approximately 200 hours.

Long keel with encapsulated ballast. Keel hung rudder. Tiller steering. Aft self-draining cockpit. Teak cockpit grating. Teak cockpit seating. Last surveyed April 2024.
