The Westerly Berwick is stable bilge keel boat with ample headroom, that would make a good family cruiser for the East Coast. The boat has been in his current tenure for 12 years, during which it has had several upgrades and replacements including engine (2010) and standing rigging (2018). She is also equipped with hot water boiler and fridge.

Accommodation

There is space for six within the fore cabin and saloon. Upfront there is a V-berth with infill which can accommodate two, with storage under the bunk and an opening hatch to the foredeck. Moving aft there is a Heads to port with manual marine toilet, basin and shower with pressurised hot and cold water. Opposite to starboard are two wet lockers with hanging space. Moving into the saloon area there is an ?L? shaped dinette to port and table that folds down providing space for two bunks. To starboard there is a galley with a two-burner with grill/oven and sink, moving aft on the port side there is a bench and an area for chart table. There are two quarter berths port and starboard. The boat is equipped with an approximately 114 litre water tank. Blue upholstery throughout with cushion supports underneath. Blue curtains within the galley. Eberspacher cabin heater

Mechanical Systems

She is fitted with a 3 cylinder 25 hp Beta naturally aspirated engine accessed under the companionway steps which was installed in 2010 and is fresh water cooled via a heat exchanger. It is shaft driven to a 3 bladed fixed prop and has an approximately 40 litre fuel tank. The engine has been serviced annually including filters (oil, fuel and air) oil and anode change.     Built by Westerly Yachts in 1978 to a Laurent Giles design. White GRP hull with style stripe. GRP Deck with a non-slip finish. Cast iron bilge keels. Tiller steering to a skeg hung rudder. Hull epoxied with gelshield. Last survey 2014.
