The Princess 33 is a highly desirable and durable British motor cruiser from the 1970?s and 80?s. Well suited to inland and offshore waters due to its semi-displacement hull. Mercator boasts a spacious and comfortable interior layout and is a tidy example of this popular cruiser. Under her current tenure her twin Ford Mermaid engines have been serviced annually and she presents well. Accommodation

Offering up to 6 berths with good headroom throughout. Up forward there is a generous double V-berth with an infill. Good stowage provided by shelving and a hanging locker. Stepping aft into the saloon there is a U-shaped dinette to port with a drop-down table to accommodate a double berth. Plenty of handy stowage around the saloon, provided by lockers and shelving. Opposite to starboard there is a separate heads with a Jabsco marine toilet, basin and shower tap. Further aft is the L-shaped galley comprising of a Plastimo two gas burner hob with grill. Smev gas oven. Waeco front opening fridge freezer. Stainless steel sink. Hot and cold pressurised water throughout. 400 litre water tank. Approximately 150 litre holding tank. Mercator is also equipped with a Eberspacher D4 heating system. Moving up into the Wheelhouse the helm is to port with engine controls and instruments. Navigational equipment and electrical distribution panel and behind the helm seat is a side facing chart table. Opposite to starboard is a settee berth. Stepping out onto a good size aft cockpit with bulwark and a full canopy makes this a useable space even in inclement weather.

Mechanical Systems

Located under the wheelhouse sole are twin Ford Mermaid marine diesel engines. 80 HP, four cylinders, naturally aspirated. Fresh water cooled via a heat exchanger. Shaft driven from a Borg Warner Velvet Drive gear box to twin bronze 3 bladed propellers. Dual lever controls. Trim tabs. Approximately 3091 hours on both engines. Approximately 500 litres stainless steel fuel tank.
