The Westerly 33 is a safe, comfortable and sturdy cruising boat, built by Westerly in 1979. She has a safe centre cockpit and a fin keel. Gypsy Girl is well equipped with a comprehensive navigation package, recent Beta 35hp engine and much more.

Accommodation

Offering up to 6 berths, with two separate sleeping cabins. In the fore cabin, there is a large double V-berth with an infill. Good stowage below and a large hanging locker. Moving aft and to port, there is the separate heads compartment with wash basin and Lavac manual marine toilet and shower. In the saloon, there are two single settee berths to port and starboard. Port side berths converts double into a double. Saloon table to centre with double drop leaves. To port is the chart table with the electrical distribution panel, navigation equipment including the chart plotter which is on a articulating panel that can be viewed from the cockpit. The L-shaped galley is opposite to starboard which features two stainless steel sinks, Plastimo two-burner gas cooker. The walk through into the aft cabin has plenty of handy stowage lockers. The aft master cabin has a generous double berth to port and single seat to starboard. Patterned upholstery. Eberspacher diesel fired cabin heating. Hot & cold pressurised water supply throughout. Lee cloths. CD/Radio player with speakers to saloon and aft cabin.

Mechanical Systems

located under the cockpit sole is the Beta marine diesel engine fitted new in 2016. 35hp, four cylinders, naturally aspirated. Fresh water cooled via a exchanger. Shaft drive to feathering 3 blade propeller with an Aquadrive/Halyard trust bearing. Roper cutter. Approximately 120 litre fuel tank. Annually serviced. Approximately 270 engine hours. Sleipner bow thruster and wheel steering.

      Built in 1979 by Westerly Yachts to a Jack Laurent Giles design. White GRP hull with style stripe. White GRP deck with a painted non-slip coating. Cast iron fin keel and spade-hung rudder. Wheel steering. Hull epoxied below the waterline in 2006 as a preventative treatment. Last surveyed in 2020 with a copy available upon request.
