Description

The Sunseeker Offshore 28 is a popular performance boat with a sleek planning hull. Hot Pursuit has all of the benefits of a sports boat but still manages to be comfortable and spacious inside. Stepping aboard you can tell she has been well cared for and maintained to a high standard. This particular example was re-engined in 2005 with a pair of Volvo Penta D3 160 diesels maintaining her performance whilst managing to be surprisingly economical.

Accommodation

The Sunseeker Offshore 28 has generous living space inside and out. The cockpit has a sociable layout of sun pads and comfortable bench seating, this is made a more practical space with the addition of the cockpit enclosure. There is a bench seat at the helm with ample room for three adults. Inside she has six berths across two cabins and one heads compartment. The heads has hot and cold pressurised water with a shower head tap and a Jabsco manual marine toilet. The galley runs to port and is equipped with a two burner gas hob/gril, a microwave, 12 volt fridge and a stainless steel wash basin with hot and cold pressurised water. There is an aft cabin below the cockpit with good stowage and hanging space and a double berth. Forward there is a dinette with room for four adults that converts into a large double berth.

Mechanical Systems

Beneath the cockpit in an insulated engine room are two Volvo Penta D3-160 diesel engines producing 160hp a side. The engines are indirectly cooled via heat exchanger and power the boat via sterndrives with duo three bladed props. She will hold approximately 550 litres of fuel across two stainless steel tanks.
