This 1983 Hunter 34 is now for sale via Clarke & Carter. She was sailed by her Vendor from Chicago to NY, then single handed across the Atlantic via Bermuda and the Azores. Recently cruised locally. Her recently installed Vetus engine has done only some 250 hours. She has a lovely spacious interior and is fully equipped.

Accommodation
Up to seven berths in two cabins plus the saloon with excellent headroom and teak joinery. The forward cabin has a double V berth. Plenty of stowage under the berths, in hanging locker and stowage lockers. Heads compartment across the boat with stainless steel sink with hot and cold pressurised supply to port in vanity unit and marine toilet plus shower unit to starboard. The saloon has a large dinette to starboard (table drops to make a double berth) plus a settee berth to port. Aft of the settee is the outboard facing chart table with a dedicated PVC armchair. The very large U-shaped galley is to starboard and is equipped with gimballed 2 burner bio-ethanol cooker with microwave oven, fridge, double stainless-steel sinks and masses of storage. The aft cabin is to port and has a single berth that converts to a double. Diesel fired central heating system (4Kw - new in 2025). Hot and cold pressurised fresh water system heated by 240v immersion and engine. Two x 200 litre water tanks. Blinds to saloon windows. Curtains. Blue saloon upholstery. Bulkhead mounted TV.
Mechanical Systems
Located under companionway is the Vetus N3.29 marine diesel engine (new 2022). 29hp. Shaft drive to three bladed fixed propeller. 65 litre fuel tank plus holding tank converted for extra diesel capacity. The engine has logged only some 252 hours and has been serviced at 50 & 250 hours. Approx 6 knots cruising at some 1.5 litres per hour consumption (subject to fouling and loading).

Wheel steering to spade rudder. Self draining cockpit and anchor well. Stainless steel safety rails. Teak coachroof hand rails. Alloy toe rails. Last surveyed in 2005.
