The Jeanneau Sun Shine 36 is a comfortable and spacious cruising yacht, with twin double aft cabins and a double berth forward. Neredies has the benefit of a new mast, boom and standing rigging in 2023, as well as freshly painted hull.

Accommodation

The accommodation offers up to eight berths in a three-cabin layout with 6'4" approximate headroom. Forecabin with double V-berth, good storage and deck opening hatch. Separate heads compartment to port equipped with a marine toilet and wash basin with pressurised cold water supply. Hanging locker to starboard. The saloon consists of a settee and pilot berths either side of the central table. Galley aft to port consisting of a gas cooker with 4-burners, oven and grill, sink, fridge unit to cool box and ample storage. Double aft cabins to either side of the companionway, both with hanging lockers and further storage. Blue cheque upholstery. TrumaTrumatic cabin heater with outlets in each aft cabin and the saloon.

Mechanical Systems

Located under the companionway is the Yanmar 3GMD marine diesel engine. 20hp, three cylinders, naturally aspirated. Seawater cooled. Shaft drive to a fixed three blade propeller. Single lever controls. Electric start. Engine hours unknown.

    Jeanneau Sunshine 36 built in 1984 by Jeanneau to a design by Tony Castro. White painted GRP hull. Aluminium toe rails. White GRP superstructure with moulded non-slip decks. Cast iron fin keel with tiller steering to a partially skeg hung rudder. Aft self-draining cockpit. Last surveyed in 2021.
