This Westerly Griffon 'Gemma' is the desirable MkII version with fin keel, is well set up for shorthanded sailing, and has a good inventory including an electric anchor windlass, Raymarine navigation equipment, and a recent Furlex furling system. Partial refit in 2024/5 ? all head linings replaced, engine refurbishment, electrics upgraded, new running rigging and deck hardware, new instruments, new anchor, hull repaint and more.

Accommodation
The accommodation is fitted out with teak joinery throughout and offers up to 6 berths in 2 cabins with approximately 6ft headroom. The forecabin is fitted with a V berth with infill and beneath berth stowage, shelves, and opening hatch to foredeck. The separate heads compartment to port with marine toilet and pullout washbasin, with hanging locker opposite. Stepping aft into the traditionally laid out saloon, there are two settee berths (port can convert to a double) either side of a central table with built in storage, and good storage in a range of lockers. The galley is aft and to starboard and equipped with a gimballed Flavel Vanessa gas cooker with two burners, grill, and oven, stainless steel sink with manually pumped cold water supply, new fridge unit to cool box, and storage. Opposite to port, is the quarter berth with large storage cupboard and electrical distribution panel. All head linings replaced in 2024/5. New LED reading lights in saloon and quarter berth.
Mechanical Systems
Located under companionway, Volvo Penta 2002 18 hp 2-cylinder diesel engine. Seawater cooled. Single lever controls with electric start. Shaft drive to fixed pitch 2-bladed propeller. Recent replacements include new sea water pump, new stainless steel exhaust elbow, new stern and cutlass bearings plus engine insulation fitted. There is a new starter motor ready to fit.
Electrical Systems
Two 12 volt domestic batteries. 12 volt engine start battery. Charging via engine alternator, 50w solar panel and Victron battery charger (all professionally installed). Electrical distribution panel with a voltmeter & Battery isolator switch.
Sails and Spars
Masthead Bermudan sloop rig. Deck stepped silver anodised aluminium mast and boom. Stainless steel standing rigging. Terylene running rigging and Dyneema halyards (2025) led aft to cockpit. Slab reefing mainsail. Furlex 100S headsail furling system. 2 x Barlow 20 sheet winches. 2 x Barlow 16 halyard winches. New Harken mainsheet track and blocks. New coachroof Spinlock clutches. Westerly Griffon built by Westerly Yachts in 1984 to an Ed Dubois design. White painted (2025 in Epifanes) GRP hull, superstructure, and decks with grey painted non-slip surfaces. Teak toe rail and rubbing strake. Cast iron fin keel. Tiller steering to transom hung rudder. Self-draining aft cockpit. All coachroof windows removed, refurbished and refitted in 2025. Overall a solid boat that is ready to be launched and used.
