The Moody 31 MKII is fast becoming a classic family cruising yacht thanks to their comfortable accommodation, good all-round performance and sugar scoop stern and tiller steering. Aubin has been in her current ownership since 2017 and has been well maintained, including new standing rigging in 2020, new engine exhaust elbow in 2024 and the keel was blasted and epoxied in 2023, plus more! Accommodation

Offering up to six berths in three cabins, with two double berths outside of the saloon. Approximately 6ft2 maximum headroom. V berth forward with infill to convert to a double berth, seat and good storage. Saloon with settee berths either side of the fixed table with double drop leaves. Useful stowage around the saloon in various lockers and cupboards. The forward-facing chart table is to port with the electrical distribution panel and some navigation equipment. The L-shaped galley is opposite to starboard, consisting of a Nelson two-burner gas cooker with grill and oven, top loading fridge, stainless steel sink and storage. Separate heads compartment is in the port quarter with Jabsco marine toilet with a holding tank and macerator, wash basin, shower. Double aft cabin to starboard with storage and portlight. Manually pumped cold water supply throughout. Teak and holly saloon floor. Blue upholstery to the saloon.

Mechanical Systems

Located behind the companionway steps with good access all around, is the Volvo Penta 2030 fitted new in 2006. 29hp, 3 cylinders, fresh water cooled via a heat exchanger. Shaft drive to a fixed three bladed propeller. Approximately 90litre fuel tank. Annually serviced and last serviced in May 2025. New exhaust elbow in 2024. New fuel tank in 2019.

    Built in 1986 by Marine Projects (Plymouth) Ltd. White GRP hull with style stripes. White GRP coachroof with light grey moulded non-skid decks. Cast iron fin keel. Tiller steering to skeg hung rudder. Self-draining cockpit and anchor well. Alloy toe rails. Stainless steel rails and guard wires. Sugar scoop type transom. New keel bolts in 2019. Hull and keel blasted in 2023. Keel epoxied in 2023. Small osmotic blisters treated in 2023.
