This Southerly 100 was built in 1987 by Northshore and has been in her present ownership for 14 years. They are a go-anywhere cruiser with a swing keel for shallow waters and confident offshore performance. Spacious, sturdy, and easy to handle.

Accommodation

Offering up to 5 berths in a well-ventilated interior. Up forward cabin with two single berths (over and under with an infill for the lower berth). Hull ports for extra natural lighting and stowage on shelving and under berths. Moving aft into the saloon, there is a U shaped dinette to port and settee berth to starboard. The saloon table (with extensions) slides up to the deckhead for extra space or drops to make a double berth (with infill cushion). Stepping up, you have an interior helm and navigation station to starboard with a chart table. The L shaped galley is to port and has hot and cold pressurised fresh water supply to the twin stainless steel sinks, two burner gas cooker with grill and oven, refrigerator, and loads of stowage. In the port aft quarter, there is a spacious single berth. The separate heads compartment is to starboard and has a manual marine toilet. Hand basin and shower. Curtains to all hull ports. Patterned cloth upholstery.

Mechanical Systems

Located behind the companionway stairs is the 2001 Yanmar 3GM30F, a regularly serviced marine diesel engine. This boasts a 100 litre capacity stainless steel fuel tank. Shaft drive to a fixed three blade propeller. 3 cylinders, 27hp, freshwater cooled via a heat exchanger. Rope cutter. BOWTHRUSTER.

    Built by Northshore Yachts in 1987. White GRP hull with blue style stripes and teak rubbing strakes. White GRP coachroof with moulded non-skid decks. Southerly swing up keel with an electric hydraulic lift system with a manual override. 0.69m draft with keel up and 1.78m with keel down. Wheel steering to skeg hung rudder. Last surveyed in October 2010.
