Description
The Sadler 26 is a well-proven design with good accommodation and sea kindly performance, which with the double skinned construction makes them warm, dry and unsinkable! ?Silver Pearl? has been well maintained by her current owner who has not had the time to use her recently, hence the reason for sale. Recent improvements include a new engine in 2021 and new standing rigging in 2022.

Accommodation
The accommodation offers six berths in two cabins with approx. 5'7" max. headroom. Forecabin with V-berth with stowage beneath and opening hatch to foredeck. Full width heads compartment with Lavac marine toilet and hanging locker opposite. Saloon with settee berth to starboard with dinette opposite converting to a double berth. Galley to starboard equipped with a recently fitted two-burner Pacific 4500 gas cooker with grill and oven, stainless steel sink with pressurised cold water supply, top-loading cool box and storage. A 12v refrigeration system is fitted to the cool box but is not currently working. 40 litre freshwater capacity. Quarter berth with chart table over aft to port. Light blue velour fabric upholstery and complimenting curtains. Teak and holly sole boards.
Mechanical Systems
Located beneath companionway, Beta Marine, twin cylinder, 14hp diesel engine installed new in 2021. Approx. 115 engine hours. Indirect cooling via heat exchanger. Single lever controls with electric start. Shaft drive to fixed two-bladed propeller (new 2021). Stainless steel 45 litre fuel tank.
Electrical Systems
2 x 12v Batteries (new approx. 2023) charging via engine alternator. 240v shore power lead to 12v Sterling ProCharge 20 battery charger. Electrical distribution panel. Full Interior lighting.
Sails and Spars
Masthead rigged sloop. Silver anodised, single spreader, deck stepped mast and boom. Stainless steel standing rigging (new 2022). Slab reefing mainsail. Furlex 100S headsail furling system. 2 x Lewmar 24 two-speed sheet winches. 2 x Lewmar 7 halyard winches on coachroof.

Sadler 26 moulded in 1983 by Sadler Yachts and fitted out to an excellent standard by her first owner and first launched in 1988. White GRP hull and coachroof and moulded non-slip decks. Double skin, foam-filled construction enabled the Sadler 26 to be marketed as "unsinkable", and also provides both sound and temperature insulation. Sadler red/blue cavita line. Teak rubbing strake. Cast iron fin keel. Tiller steering with tiller extension and lock to transom hung rudder supported by full-length skeg. The underwater part of the hull was epoxied in 2002 as a preventative measure. Self-draining aft cockpit. Teak washboards.
