Accomodations

"American Girl" offers beautifully presented accommodation for up to six guests across two cabins and the saloon, making her ideal for family cruising and extended stays aboard. Her interior has benefited from a comprehensive refit in 2026, including all new upholstery, headlining, mattresses and carpets throughout, creating a fresh, modern and inviting living space.

The forward owner's cabin features a generous double berth, excellent storage and a private en-suite with, Jabasco toilet and separate stand up shower. The guest cabin has been converted to provide a spacious double berth and also benefits from private en-suite facilities with electric toilet, pull out shower and vanity unit.

A well-equipped galley includes a four-burner gas cooker, microwave, refrigerator with freezer compartment and ample storage. The bright saloon offers comfortable seating that converts to an additional double berth if required, together with a TV, DVD player, JVC Bluetooth CD player and Pioneer speakers.

Hot and cold pressurised water is supplied from a 500-litre stainless steel tank, heated by both the engines and an immersion heater. New hatches in May 2026. Webasto diesel-fired warm air heating throughout ensures year-round comfort aboard.

Electrical Systems

2 x 12V domestic batteries, 2 x 12V engine crank batteries and 1x 12V windlass battery all replaced in Decmber 2025. Batteries are charged via engine alternators and supported by a full 240V shore power system. Additional equipment includes an immersion heater and inverter.

Construction

This Birchwood TS37 Supersport, built in 1989, features a white GRP hull and superstructure with a comfortable semi-displacement hull form for efficient cruising. Wide side decks, stainless steel guardrails and moulded non-slip surfaces provide safe movement around the boat, while the spacious aft cockpit offers excellent space for relaxing and entertaining. American Girl also benefits from a Boat Safety Certificate valid until 2029, giving added peace of mind to her next owner.
