Description

The Sigma 38 was a popular cruiser racer when launched, its design allowed for comfortable fast cruising with a manageable rig and a strong hull. They had a keen following among the racing community. Currently owned by operated by Premier Sailing for the Award winning Sail4Macmillan around Britain trips. The latest trip finished on 22nd June. The vessel is now cleaned and ready for a new adventure. She would be ideal as a family cruising/racing boat or to be put to work as she currently is.

Accommodation

Below she has two double cabins aft, a double cabin forward (that can convert into a sail locker) and twin berths in the saloon with two further passage berths outboard of the saloon. She has a wet heads forward of the saloon. Owing to the design as a cruiser racer there is plenty of stowage and hanging space on board. She has hot and cold pressurised water, heated by the engine and immersion. In the galley she has a three burner gas hob with oven. There is also refrigerated cold storage and Eberspacher cabin heating. She has approximately 300 litres of fresh water tankage and approximately 70 litres of holding tank capacity.

Mechanical Systems

Under the companionway in an insulated engine room is a Volvo 2030 diesel engine, producing 29 horsepower, powering a shaft driven two bladed folding propeller. She has a stainless steel fuel tank with a capacity of approximately 100 litres.
