The Dehler 36?CWS Top is a performance-oriented, Van De Stadt designed cruiser racer built in 1991. It combines ease of handling with respectable comfort for coastal sailing. The central winch system is situated by the helm which also makes the boat easily managed by a light crew. Mr Blue Sky has been in her current ownership for the past 5 years and was last surveyed in 2018.

Accommodation

The accommodation offers up to 5 berths berths in a well-ventilated interior. The forward cabin has a V-berth with storage space under. Hatch to the foredeck. There is good standing space with a large hanging locker to port and pull-out vanity unity to starboard. The Saloon has a U-shaped dinette to starboard, offering a single berth. A fixed central table with drop leaf. The linear galley is to port, with a Eno Marine two burner gimballed gas cooker, oven and grill. 12v front opening fridge. Twin stainless steel sinks with pressurised hot and cold water system. Generous storage and worktop area with integral grab rail. Chart table with fold-out seat. Aft cabin with large double berth. Hanging locker. Separate heads compartment aft with sea toilet, washbasin and shower. Wet locker. Blinds and fitted carpets. Eberspacher diesel cabin heating. Checked grey upholstery. Grey carpets.

Mechanical Systems

Located behind the companionway stairs in a sound proofed compartment, is the Yanmar 3GM30F marine diesel engine (1991). 3 cylinders, 27hp, freshwater cooled via a heat exchanger. Shaft drive to a 2 bladed folding propeller. Rope cutter. Single lever controls. Electric start. 160litre fuel tank. Engine fully serviced and the start of the season. Approximately 291 hours on the engine.

    This Dehler 36 CWS was built by Dehler Yachts in 1991 to a design by Van de Stadt to Germanischer Lloyds. Light grey GRP hull with style stripes. Hand laid laminate with Kevlar stiffening and Balsa core above the waterline. Galvanised steel reinforcement in way of keel and mast supports. Light grey GRP superstructure with non-slip decks. Aft self-draining cockpit. Cast iron fin keel. Semi-balanced Spade rudder. Wheel steering. Rubber rubbing strakes. Last surveyed in 2020 (copy available).
