This 1991 Garcia Passoa 47 represents a rare opportunity to acquire a ready to go anywhere legendary aluminium blue-water yacht that has been completely refitted to the very highest standards between 2023–2024. The refit was carried out by the renowned Italian shipyard Zuanelli, under the technical supervision of Davide Zerbinati, Italy’s leading expert in aluminium yachts, and with the involvement of Eugenio Favero, one of Italy’s most respected ocean skippers. The result is a Passoa 47 that combines proven expedition pedigree with the reliability, safety, and comfort of a modern yacht.
Every system on board has been comprehensively reviewed, upgraded, or replaced, with a clear focus on ocean readiness, safety, and ease of handling. The aluminium hull—known for its strength and safety—has been meticulously prepared and coated with Belzona resin. All mechanical, electrical, navigation, and onboard systems have been brought to contemporary standards using top-tier components and comes with a huge complement of spares and tools. This was not just a cosmetic refit, but a no-compromise technical and structural renewal, executed with professional offshore sailing in mind. Including: Complete ALL NEW MAST & RIG, ALL NEW SAIL WARDROBE, Complete NEW ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS, INDEPENDENT TWIN AUTOPILOTS, ALL NEW WINDLASS, CHAIN, ANCHORS, WATER-MAKER, REFRIGERATION, SOLAR, DINGHY, OUTBOARD & much much more. She has just successfully crossed the Atlantic as part of the ARC proving she is a long-range cruising yacht, ready for immediate further adventures—whether high-latitude exploration, extended liveaboard cruising, or safe family ocean passages.
