The Hallberg-Rassy 94 Kutter has a reputation as a robust motor Sailer with a classic Scandinavian design. With a full keel, comfortable and secure pilothouse cockpit it offers excellent seaworthiness. Designed by Christoph Rassy and Ollie Enderlein, Ostara appears to be a superb condition and was built in 1992. She benefits from a bowthruster, recent standing rigging and good electronics. Accommodation
She offers four berths in the traditionally laid out interior, fitted out in a light mahogany joinery and carpeted throughout. Up forward there is a V berth with infill, that makes a generous double bunk with good stowage below. Opening hatch to the foredeck. Moving aft, the separate heads compartment is to port with a manual Jabsco marine toilet, porcelain handbasin and shower which drains to the bilge. Hot & cold pressurised water supply. Opposite to starboard is a large hanging locker. Stepping into the saloon, there is an L shaped settee to port and a single settee opposite to starboard with hinged backrests to increase sleeping space. Fixed double dropleaf saloon table, with bottle stowage. Good stowage around the saloon. Deck opening hatch. In the starboard quarter, is the L shaped galley with a gimballed two burner gas cooker with grill and oven. Frigomatic top loading 12V fridge. Double stainless-steel sink with a pressurised hot & cold water supply. Additional filtered water tank. Teak work top. Opposite to port, is the chart table with the electrical distribution panel, navigation equipment and chart stowage. Approximately 150 litre water tank. Blue upholstery throughout (new 2021). Grey curtains. Webasto cabin heating. LED lighting throughout. Moving up into the pilot house cockpit which has a hard top and teak seating and cockpit sole. She has a centre windscreen opening and wipers, with canvas cockpit enclosure. To starboard is the wheel, upholstered helm seat and instrument panel. There is also stowage throughout under the cockpit seating and a removeable cockpit table with teak pedestal situated aft.
Mechanical Systems
Located under the cockpit sole, in an insulated and ventilated engine bay is the Volvo Penta MD22 marine diesel engine. Four cylinders, 57HP, naturally aspirated. Fresh water cooled via a heat exchanger. Shaft drive via a reduction gearbox to a fixed 3 bladed bronze propeller. Single lever controls. Electric start. Approximately 150 litre fuel tank.
