The Maxi 1000 is a highly regarded Scandinavian cruising yacht, combining excellent sailing performance with practical and comfortable accommodation. Designed by Pelle Petterson and built by Maxi Yachts of Sweden, they have earned a reputation as capable cruising yachts that are equally at home making coastal passages or undertaking extended cruising. Madrigal has been in the same ownership since 2003 and has clearly benefitted from careful and attentive upkeep throughout that period ? particularly of note would be the new engine in 2021. Primarily based at West Mersea, she has cruised extensively around the East and South Coasts of the UK as well as making passages to France. Presenting in very good condition throughout, she is an excellent example of this popular design and is ready for her next owners' adventures.
