Mechanical Systems

Twin 1997 Volvo Penta TAMD73P turbocharged, six cylinder marine diesel engines, generating 430hp each. The engines are indirect water-cooled and drive four-bladed bronze propellers via conventional shaft drives. Fuel capacity is approximately 1,409 litres.

Handling is effortless thanks to dual-lever engine controls, trim tabs, and both bow and stern thrusters, with controls duplicated at each helm station. Escape cruises comfortably at 20 knots with a maximum speed of 25 knots. The engines have logged approximately 1,100 hours in total, with only 25 hours since the last service in 2025.

The engines have benefitted from regular annual servicing, with the exception of 2026. The most recent service, completed in April 2025, included an oil change, replacement anodes, new drive belts, impellers and filter changes.

Electrical Systems

4 x 24V domestic batteries (believed new 2021), 2 x 24V engine crank batteries (new 2023), 2 x 24V bow thruster batteries (new 2026) and 2 x 24V stern thruster batteries (new 2023). Batteries charged via engine alternators. Full 240V shore power system with battery charger, immersion heater and ring main.

Aft self-draining cockpit. Teak cockpit floor and real teak covered bathing platform. Large stowage locker under cockpit floor. Steps up to flybridge and side decks. Stainless steel pulpit, side rails and grab rails. Bow, stern and midship mooring cleats. Seacocks replaced in 2021.
