Accommodation
The Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 36.2 owner's version layout offers up to six berths with two double berths outside the saloon, and excellent 6'4" headroom throughout the saloon. Up forward, which is considered the owner's cabin and fitted with a large double berth, hanging locker, storage shelves, washbasin and an opening hatch to the foredeck. Moving into the saloon, you have a large U-shaped settee to starboard with large table, that converts down into a double berth. Opposite to port, there are two comfortable seats with a lovely drinks locker in between. Plenty of natural light and ventilation is provided by opening hatches, two large coachroof windows and two portlights. The large L-shaped galley is to starboard, equipped with a gimballed 2-burner gas cooker with oven, twin stainless steel sinks, large fridge and generous stowage. The forward-facing chart table is to port, with the electrical distribution panel, navigation equipment, stereo system, chart storage and further useful stowage beneath seat and in lockers. Aft of the chart table is the voluminous separate heads compartment, with a Jabsco marine toilet with holding shower, washbasin and good storage. The separate aft cabin is to starboard, fitted with a double berth, hanging locker, two portlights and storage. Pressurised hot and cold water system via calorifier with immersion coil. Blue upholstery throughout. Hatch covers. LED lighting throughout.
Mechanical Systems
Located behind the companionway stairs is the Volvo Penta MD2030 marine diesel engine. Three cylinders, 29hp, naturally aspirated. Fresh water cooled via a heat exchanger. Single lever controls. Electric start. Shaft drive to a three blade Darglow feathering propeller. Approximately 800 hours on the engine. Regularly serviced. Recent exhaust silencer, cutlass bearing & stern gland. VETUS BOWTHRUSTER.
