This Etap 21i has a shoal draft tandem keel offering good performance for her moderate draft, ideal for exploring shallow waters whilst still providing good performance for the size. Featuring Etap's famous double skin 'unsinkable' construction they make excellent family boats inspiring confidence whilst offering comfortable overnight accommodation and a good sized cockpit. Aege is presented in a good condition for her age and has been well maintained in her current tenure.

Accommodation

Offering up to 4 berths in one, open plan cabin. Moulded linings and a light wood fitout, creates a light and spacious feel with a double berth forward (curtain to separate from cabin) and two settee berths extending aft, either side of a removable central table. Galley area to port equipped with an Origo single burner alcohol/spirit stove, stainless-steel sink with manually pumped cold water supply and stowage. Marine sea-toilet toilet under berth. Cream upholstery (new 2022) with complimenting curtains and cushions. Teak and holly sole boards.

Mechanical Systems

Located on the transom, is the Yamaha F8 FMHS 8hp 4-stroke outboard engine (new 2021). Tiller arm controls with reverse gear and manual start. Remote 12 litre plastic fuel tank. Professionally serviced each year.

    Construction

    Built by Etap in 2001 to a design by Mortain & Mavrikios. White GRP hull with red/grey style stripes, superstructure and decks with cream non-slip surfaces. Cast iron shoal draft tandem keel. Tiller steering to twin transom hung rudders. Self-draining cockpit. She has been upgraded to conform to Cat B CE & RCD for offshore use. Last surveyed in 2019.
