Cereros is a well finished, twin keeled Hunter Channel 31. She is a kit fit out boat however appears to be professionally finished. This could be the ideal family cruiser for exploring the shallows of the east coast or even further! She has always been a locally owned boat and well cared for, this is evident when you walk on board.

Accommodation

Cereros has six berths across two cabins and the saloon. Aft she has a spacious double cabin with enough room for two adults. The saloon has two further single berths and the forward cabin has a V berth. The galley is equipped with a two burner gas hob/cooker/grill, hot and cold pressurised water and a fridge. The heads has a Jabsco sea toilet and a wash basin also with hot and cold pressurised water. There is Eberspacher cabin heating.

Mechanical Systems

In an insulated engine room under the companionway is a Yanmar 2GM20, cooled via heat exchanger, that powers a two-bladed fixed propeller on a shaft. She holds approximately 58 litres of diesel in a stainless steel tank. The engine has new oil and filters annually. The head was overhauled in 2023, this included valves, guides and valve stem oil seals. The injectors were serviced in 2023 by Colchester Fuels.

    Built by Hunter Boats (UK) to a design by David Thomas in 2001 and completed by her first owner to a high standard from a Hunter kit. White GRP hull and GRP decks with moulded non-slip. Spade hung rudder. Twin cast iron bilge keels. Last antifouled in April 2025.
