The Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 35 is considered a versatile, responsive and comfortable mid-size cruiser. It offers a balanced package of sailing performance without compromise to comfort and living space, making it a popular choice as a family cruiser or for shorthanded sailing. Tenacity is a 2003 example with the preferred two-cabin layout. She is well-equipped and represents a good-sized cruising yacht at an attractive price.

Accommodation

The accommodation offers up to six berths in two cabins. Up forward there is a large V berth which makes a comfortable double. Opening hatch to the foredeck. Stepping aft into a spacious saloon, U-shaped dinette to starboard with a drop-down table to accommodate a double berth. Opposite is a single settee berth and the chart table with the electrical distribution panel, navigation equipment and chart stowage. The L-shaped galley is located to starboard with excellent bracing for use at sea. Stainless-steel sink with a pressurised hot & cold-water supply. Two 120 litre plastic water tanks. Eno two burner gas hob with a grill and oven. Top opening refrigerator. Opposite on port side is the heads with shower, Jabsco manual marine toilet and stainless-steel sink. The large owner?s aft cabin is accessed down the starboard side with a hanging locker along the hull. Tenacity is also equipped with a Eberspacher heating system.

Mechanical Systems

Located under the cockpit sole in an insulated and ventilated engine bay, is a Volvo Penta MD2030 (2003) marine diesel engine. 29HP, three cylinders, naturally aspirated. Fresh water cooled via a heat exchanger. Shaft drive via a reduction gearbox to a folding propeller. Electric start. Single lever engine controls. Regularly serviced by the owner. Approximately 120 litres fuel tank.

    Built by Jeanneau in 2003 to a Marc Lombard design. White GRP hull and deck with moulded non-slip finish. Wheel steering to single spade rudder. Cast iron fin keel. Antifouled and anodes replaced in 2025.
