The Broom 450 is a substantial aft-cabin offshore motor cruiser combining spacious accommodation with capable performance. Designed by John Bennett and built by Broom Boats, Erika was built in 2005 and has the three-cabin, six-berth arrangement with a light cherry-finished interior. She is powered by twin Volvo Penta D9 500hp diesels on conventional shafts, giving a comfortable cruising speed of approximately 20 knots and a maximum speed of around 30 knots. Her inventory includes an 11.9kVA Fischer Panda generator, Eberspacher heating, extensive Raymarine navigation equipment and teak-laid exterior decks. New cockpit canopies, sun net and dashboard covers were fitted in September 2026. Erika has been well loved and cared for, but the owners unfortunately are not making quite enough use for her. She is offered with previous service history available.

Accommodation
Six berths in three cabins with approximately 6'6" headroom. Light cherry joinery with carpets, blinds and upholstery. Forward is a guest cabin with central double berth, hanging and general storage. Erika has a custom-made forward cabin mattress dating from September 2019, stated to be unused. An en-suite/day heads compartment is situated to port with electric marine toilet, washbasin and separate shower arrangement. Jack and Jill doors offer convenient access from the cabin or companionway. Opposite the heads is the second guest cabin providing twin bunk berths with wardrobe and cupboard storage. Moving aft and to port is the galley providing twin stainless steel sinks with hot and cold water, electric cooking facilities, oven, fridge and freezer together with useful storage. Erika's inventory also includes a washing machine and custom crockery cupboard with crockery set. Steps lead up into the spacious deck saloon, where the raised arrangement and generous glazing provide good natural light and visibility. The Broom 450 layout incorporates seating to both port and starboard with dining facilities. Erika has a cherry-based interior, flat-screen television/DVD and stereo/CD system together with Oceanair blinds to the saloon windows. Steps lead down aft from the saloon to the full-beam owner's cabin. Featuring a large double berth with substantial wardrobe and storage provision and an en-suite heads compartment with electric marine toilet, washbasin and separate shower. A leather dressing chair is included aboard Erika. The aft cabin arrangement is one of the key defining features of the Broom 450, made possible by the elevated cockpit and helm position above it. Eberspacher D8LC diesel-fired cabin heating. Pressurised hot and cold water system with approximately 590 litre freshwater capacity.
