The Cornish Shrimper is superb family day boat with lifting keel and rudder, which is easily sailed with a gaff rigged mainsail and furling jib, the mast can be lowered easily and the boat can be trailed behind a family car. Salty Monkey comes with an inboard diesel and road trailer.

The accommodation offers two berths in saloon. Settee berths port and starboard with width extensions and stowage beneath. Opening hatch to foredeck. Cabin light. Manual marine toilet. Single burner gas hob. Blue Upholstery.

Mechanical Systems

Located under the cockpit sole, is the Yanmar 1GM10 marine diesel engine. Single cylinder, 9hp, naturally aspirated. Seawater cooled. Shaft drive to a fixed two-blade propeller. Approximately 18 litre stainless steel fuel tank. Fully serviced with new fuel lines in 2025.

Built in 2005 by Cornish Crabbers to a Roger Dongray design. Blue GRP hull with wood rubbing strake. Cream GRP deck and coachroof with moulded non-slip finish. Transom hung rudder to tiller steering. Lifting, steel keel. Copper coat anti-fouling. Self-draining cockpit.
